What is a Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy focuses on supporting a person’s emotional well-being, mental health, and day-to-day functioning. It involves structured, evidence-based interventions aimed at understanding thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and the interactions between them. Sessions are conducted through confidential conversations with a licensed psychologist and may draw from therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance-based approaches, or supportive psychotherapy, depending on individual needs.

The purpose of psychotherapy is to help you better understand your difficulties, develop effective coping strategies, and foster meaningful and lasting change. Therapy may address concerns such as anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, self-esteem, interpersonal difficulties, burnout, or adjustment challenges. When relevant, it can also support individuals in managing the emotional impact of neurodevelopmental conditions or life transitions.

Our clinic specializes in working with adults presenting with neurodivergent profiles, including ADHD, giftedness, twice-exceptionality (giftedness accompanied by a neurodevelopmental condition such as ADHD), and autism. Psychotherapy in this context aims to promote self-understanding, emotional balance, and practical strategies for everyday life, while respecting each individual’s unique cognitive and emotional profile.

What is a Neuropsychology Evaluation?
Neuropsychological assessments examine a person's cognitive, behavioral and emotional functions, and the relationships between each of these parts. These evaluations involve standardized tests that assess areas such as intellectual functioning, attention, memory, language, visuo-spatial perception, and executive functions. Neuropsychological assessments are generally carried out by neuropsychologists with specialized training in psychology and neuroscience.

The purpose of this process is to assess the nature of your difficulties and your cognitive abilities. If applicable, it also aims to identify the presence of one or more psychological or neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g. ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, etc.) and to develop recommendations and possible solutions.

Our clinic specializes in adult neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, dyslexia, dysorthographia, and dyscalculia. Profiles of giftedness, twice-exceptionality (giftedness accompanied by a neurodevelopmental disorder such as ADHD), as well as autism, are also assessed. The results of these assessments usually lead to a better understanding of one's own cognitive profile and functioning in everyday life. Neuropsychology Evaluation Costs
At our clinic, we provide a broad range of neuropsychological evaluations, each tailored to the unique needs of our clients. These assessments are organized into two main categories, depending on the complexity of the concerns being explored. Both types of evaluations are billed according to our professionals' current hourly rate of $180.
Comprehensive neuropsychology evaluation is for individuals seeking an assessment for ADHD, giftedness, learning differences such as dyslexia, or mood-related challenges. This evaluation typically requires three sessions: one initial consultation to gather background information, one session dedicated to cognitive testing, and a third to discuss results and to provide feedback.
Extended neuropsychology evaluation is a more in-depth assessment format and is recommended for individuals presenting with a broader or more complex profile; for example, when there is a question of autism, overlapping neurodivergent traits, or a challenging differential diagnosis. This evaluation requires an additional testing session compared to the comprehensive one, allowing for a deeper exploration of the profile.

Please note that the listed prices and evaluation duration are based on average estimates and may vary depending on the complexity of the assessment. If more or less time is required given the needs of the assessment, the evaluation plan will be reviewed collaboratively to determine the most appropriate next steps.

What is Psychological Support
for Neurodivergent Adults??
Psychological support for neurodivergent adults is a practical, collaborative process designed to help individuals better manage the everyday challenges associated with ADHD, autism, and twice-exceptional (2e) profiles. Unlike therapy or formal assessment, this support focuses on the present and the future, emphasizing skills development, structure, and actionable strategies tailored to your personal, professional, and academic realities.

A key component of this service is exploring and understanding your neurodivergent identity, helping you make sense of your strengths, challenges, and unique cognitive profile. It is particularly valuable for recently diagnosed adults who want to better understand themselves and their neurodivergent profile.

This support helps you develop effective systems for organization, time management, prioritization, emotional regulation, and follow-through, while fostering sustainable habits, autonomy, and confidence. Sessions may include psychoeducation, skill-building, and strategies to navigate work, study, and daily life, using a strength-based, neuro-affirming approach.
