About us

Simona Manescu, PhD
Neuropsychologist, Founder
Hello and welcome to our clinic!
I’m a licensed neuropsychologist and psychologist, certified by the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ). I earned my doctorate in neuropsychological research and intervention from the Université de Montréal. I offer neuropsychological assessments for adults in both French and English.
Over the years, I’ve developed a passion and expertise in working with gifted and twice-exceptional individuals—those who are both cognitively gifted and living with co-occurring challenges such as ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, anxiety, or depression. I also specialize in adult autism assessments, with a particular focus on supporting women, whose profiles are often underrecognized or misunderstood.
My experience across both public and private healthcare systems has allowed me to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and to adapt my assessment approach to each client’s unique needs. I believe neuropsychological assessment should go beyond tests and questionnaires—it’s about truly understanding a person’s strengths, challenges, and the way they experience the world.

Cristian Petrescu
Clinic Manager
Cris is the heart and soul of the clinic, making sure everything runs smoothly. From juggling schedules to keeping the team (and the plants) alive, Cris is the calm in the chaos. Hidden talent: magically fixing the printer just by being in the room.

Lady Leia Tinkleberry
Chief Inspector
Nothing goes unnoticed. All unknowns will become known. Performs thorough inspections of bags, shoes, and hearts. Known for stealing hearts—and then making you chase her. Offers gifts in the form of toys, especially if she suspects you might be persuaded into a game of fetch.

Sir Marlow Augustus III
Chief Pawcountant
Specializes in giving love, befriending strangers, and keeping a suspiciously close eye on the treat drawer. Unofficial greeter, certified cuddle provider, and full-time morale booster. Will work for belly rubs—or quite frankly, any form of attention.
